About Me

Joshua O’Neill is a trial lawyer who zealously represents clients in criminal defense, civil rights, and appeals cases throughout Massachusetts. He founded The Boston Defender, a criminal defense and civil rights law firm, in 2022. He has represented hundreds of clients charged with a range of crimes and in civil rights cases in state and federal courts in Massachusetts. Josh practices client-centered advocacy, always prioritizing communication and his clients’ goals and concerns when it comes to decision-making in their cases.
